My idea of enjoying Easter Break was spending today watching the entire third season of Rescue Me. I have a very, very open love of all things Denis Leary in an "I want to pro-create with him" kind of way. The show is brilliant, funny and I highly recommend it if you've never seen it. FX is airing re-runs most weekends and the new season starts in June, so there is my "Rescue Me" plug!

Truer words were never spoken than when someone first declared that dogs are man's best friend. I've been at school for weeks and just arrived home today to be greeted with this. The dog is my 4 year old Saint Bernard, Dakota. He is a 160lb lap dog or at least he likes to think he is. My legs say different.

This drink was the high point of my day, well, maybe the second high point (the first being my 8:30 and 9:30 classes cancelled). After sitting through back to back 300-level German classes and Religious Studies, I decided that the start of Easter break needed to be celebrated and what better way than with a nice cold Black Iced Tea Lemonade from Starbucks on a nice cold Buffalo day?

I had a test today in my Comparative Government and Politics class. I had two pages filled to the margins with information about the UK, Germany and France. I am notorious for complaining about this class, but I love it and it is my favourite out of the six classes I'm taking this semester. I got a 17/20 on the first exam and I am hoping to do much better on this one, it was harder but I felt exponentially more prepared.
